Four levels of Irish learning are accomodated ; A2 (Pre-Intermediate) , B1 (Intermediate) , Junior Cycle CBA (Mid -Tier Secondary School exam) , Ardteist (Leaving Cert Higher Level), also linking to themes found in these exams , from the household , pastimes , friends, GPV (General Point of View), feelings, society , life in education and much more.

The app uses Grammar; From verb tenses through to the Modh Coinníollach (Conditonal Tense) , Reverse Questioning, Expression completion, Feminine/Masculine challenges, Text Chunk matching(Ardteist).

Taca Teanga features a timer and negative marking toenable a competition among friends, classmates and even among yourself to better your score within a timeframe. Taca Teanga is also a usefull plenary or introductory activity for a Teacher and their Lesson Plan..

Taca Teanga holds a bank of 90+ tasks in each level section (A2, B1, Junior Cycle, Ardteist)

In general , Taca Teanga aims to enable a progressive advancement through the levels of Irish , learning with the mind and knowing Irish tacitly making Taca Teanga one component in the many components of your Irish Language journey to achieving strength in the National Language.

This hybrid gamified learning tool is bespoke to B1 level Irish , covering intricate parts of grammar , linking words ,numbers,reverse questioning, common expressions, dialects , copula, tenses ,conditional tense, knowing your Séimhíú and Úru with nouns and articles are well drilled as you try to out fox your opponent or your self doubt.

Rás Rua features a timer and negative marking , to enable that competitive edge with your friends , colleagues and classmates , however if you want to use it as a learning tool going through a cycle of over 90+ tasks , it has been designed to do so too. including a reset and jumble function. This enables over 5 consecutive rounds to be played or to remain active with constant change on each square landing.

Rás Rua is also a useful classroom exercise, using your imagination to cast your device screens to a whiteboard or overhead projector would be ideal for classroom craic …..??
